The Te Whanganui-ā-Tara Māori Wardens stretches from Johnsonville in the North to Wellington City, Brooklyn and Oriental Parade. Our office is based at the Te Wāhi Āwhina community space in Te Aro, Wellington City.

Branch Chief Suzanne Tamaki

Suzanne is the Coordinator for the Te Manawa Ora ki Te Whanganui-ā-Tara Māori Wardens. She has over 20 years experience working with numerous Māori and Pacific groups in the creative arts and cultural sector. Suzanne worked as a Programme Leader at Te Papa Tongarewa and currently works as Wellington City Council's Events Co-ordinator for Festivals.
